Warranty Policy

At FirstCarCompany.com, we are committed to delivering quality and reliability with every vehicle we sell. Our warranty policy is designed to provide our customers with confidence and peace of mind during their ownership experience.


1. Warranty Coverage

All eligible vehicles purchased from FirstCarCompany.com come with a standard limited warranty covering:

  • Engine and transmission components

  • Drive axles (front and rear)

  • Cooling system

  • Braking system (excluding consumables like pads and discs)

  • Electrical system (starter motor, alternator, battery)

This warranty is valid for a period of 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated in writing.


2. Extended Warranty Options

We also offer extended warranty packages through trusted third-party providers, available at the time of purchase. These plans may cover a wider range of components and longer durations (up to 36 months).


3. What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Routine maintenance (oil changes, filters, belts, spark plugs, etc.)

  • Wear-and-tear items (tyres, brake pads, discs, clutch, wiper blades, bulbs)

  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, paint, upholstery)

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, or modifications

  • Any repair carried out without prior written approval from FirstCarCompany.com


4. Claims Process

To make a warranty claim:

  2. Provide your vehicle’s registration, mileage, and a description of the issue.

  3. We will guide you to an approved repair centre or request an inspection.

All repairs must be authorised in writing by FirstCarCompany.com before any work is undertaken.


5. Limitations of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of covered components. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to towing, rental car expenses, or loss of use.


6. Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the vehicle.


7. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be resolved under UK consumer protection laws.
